We would like to invite you to attend the METU Business Administration Muhan Soysal Business Conference 2010 (METU BA- 2010 MS) in Ankara on June 16-19, 2010. The conference will be held at the Department of Business Administration. As before, we hope to stimulate interdisciplinary research among various fields of business administration. To realize this aim, the conference will have special sessions focused on energy as well as invited sessions by the Capital Markets Board, Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey, and the Turkish Competion Authority. We hope to bring together academics and practitioners in all fields of business to address some of the major opportunities and challenges affecting development of business theory and practice.

As with any conference, METU BA- 2010 MS will provide an excellent opportunity to see old friends, meet new ones, and participate in discussions about some of the most important issues facing business. We would like very much to count you among the conference participants.

Dan Siddy has worked on the environmental and social aspects of emerging market finance for over 15 years, and is internationally acknowledged as a leading expert in his field. His experience and networks span portfolio investment, private equity, banking and international development, from Asia to Latin America. Prior to forming Delsus in 2006, he spent eight years with IFC, where he managed a large technical assistance program to develop the sustainable finance market in emerging economies. He has been closely involved in many of the most notable developments in sustainable finance in recent years, from the Principles for Responsible Investment to the creation of sustainability indices in Brazil and India.
